Pelle und OldMacBernd haben sich hier schon ein wenig ausgelassen über die Frage zum Jaguar-Geheimnis welches da lautet: IM JAGUAR SERVICEHEFT GIBT ES KEINE ANGABEN >>WANN<< >>WAS<< GEMACHT WERDEN MUSS ODER SOLL.
Hat jemand eine klare Antwort was nach 6 Jahren oder 60 tkm im Detail zu machen ist? Oder: WO KÖNNTE MAN SERVICE-PLÄNEKAUFEN?

Nicht verzagen, Bestatter fragen:
Annually or every 7,500 miles
Change engine oil and filter with Mobil 1 0-40 or extended performance 5-30
Check and top all other fluids
Visually inspect undercarriage for problems
Inspect tyres and rotate every second small service
Check wiper blades, replace if streaky
Check windscreen washers
Check lights
Check belts and hoses
Check operation of air conditioner and heater
Road test car and note any problems
Every 15,000 miles this work is added:
Replace wiper blades and clean washer nozzles
Use Autologic to check for stored faults in the various computer systems
Check handbrake operation
Lubricate door locks
Every 30,000 miles this work is added:
Inspect exhaust system and service as needed
Replace air filter
Replace cabin filter
Inspect battery and replace if 4 years old or if it fails load test
Check serpentine belt condition - replace if cracked. Check tensioners and rollers.
Inspect brake discs/rotors
Inspect brake fluid level, brake hoses, and brake pads
Inspect cooling system
Inspect door hinges & locks
Inspect engine
Inspect engine mounts
Inspect exhaust system
Inspect fuel system
Inspect handbrake
Inspect headlamps, check aiming

Change transmission fluid

Replace spark plugs

denn z,B. bei Alfa stehen die Angaben nur in der Betriebsanleitung und auch nicht im Serviceheft.

@ rama: Das hab ich auch immer gedacht und entsprechende Fragen oft auf die Blöde beantwortet - bis ich einige neue Betriebsanleitungen gelesen hab.
Die Produktdokumentation, die man heutzutage beim Kauf eines Autos bekommt, ist schlicht und einfach eine Frechheit. Selbst für einen Toaster bekommt man brauchbarere Unterlagen. Was ich nicht verstehe ist, daß es da nicht haufenweise Klagen hagelt. Und die Abmahnvereine scheinen sich nur noch auf Ebay rumzutreiben.
Ich glaub HelmutV8 mittlerweile aufs Wort, daß die Informationen im Jaguar Handbuch unterschlagen werden.
